Spread Love Not Debt This Valentine's Day

Our number one goal this year is to help you LOVE your finances! Let’s work together and make 2022 the best year yet by focusing on bettering our finances and mental health. To start we have

talked about budgeting before, especially as part of your New Years Resolution. How is that going? We are approaching one of the year's first hurdles when it comes to standing strong in your budget… Valentine’s Day. Let’s talk about some ways to not OVERSPEND on holidays this year!

Whether you love it or hate it, you will most likely spend money for Valentine’s Day. Even if you do not have a significant other to celebrate with this year there are still other loved ones in your life. I personally used to overspend on flowers and expensive chocolates for myself, so that could always be an issue too. #treatyourself but do it responsibly!

Our lovely bookkeepers have put together some ideas that would bring a smile to their face this Valentine’s Day without breaking the budget!

✨ A CD mix of love songs just for me!

This is perfect for those of you that aren’t great with articulating your feelings… Tell them in love songs!

✨ Handle all the cooking and cleaning for the day!

This one requires no money at all but is SURE to put a huge smile on anyone's face!

✨ Build a puzzle together or play a board game but with no technology!

This is a big one for all you quality time lovers! Put the phones down, silence the TVs, and focus on each other!

✨ Cook me all the tacos!!

Skip the expensive dinner out and cook your loved one their favorite meal at home! Bonus points if you can make it heart shaped.
